PAC Meeting 25th February, 2015

PAC Chairman Michael Sheehan reports it was an excellent meeting.  Agri Adviser P.J. Phelan spoke to a full room. He explained that in his opinion contractors were not charging enough for their services and not taking all their overheads into account when arriving at a price.  P.J. ddemonstrateda system he is developing, which will make it much easier for contractors to judge if they are charging properly.  This was followed by a long and useful question and answer session.  There was an interesting update on the work PAC is doing on behalf of contractors. It was agreed that PAC had never taken the route of only telling contractors what what they wanted to hear and never promised what cannot be delivered. Feedback after the meeting was encouragingly positive.
