NC Engineering – Trailer Alert

NC Engineering (Hamiltonsbawn) Ltd has issued an urgent warning following a fatal accident involving their Power Tilt Dump Trailer (NC300 Series).  The incident involved the tail door section of the trailer.  NC Engineering warn that on trailers manufactured prior to 2007 a door mechanism, which is not freely movable or is damaged, must be replaced before the trailer is used.  A Retrofit Kit is available for trailers manufactured from 2007 and must be fitted by an NC Dealer.  Owners should ensure there is a safe system of work in place in place for operators when clearing blockages.  The company requests that all owners of dump trailers with power tilt door contact their local NC Dealer without delay.
