Paddy Browne Appointed as new Chair of IASIS

PAC Ireland welcomes the appointment of Mr. Paddy Browne as new Chairman of the Irish Agricultural Supply Industry Standards (IASIS).  Until his retirement earlier this year Paddy was the Head of Crops, Environment and Land Use Programmes with Teagasc.  He succeeds the late Dr. Mark Lynch.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr John Keogh, Director of IASIS said; “we are delighted that Paddy has accepted the Board’s invitation to become Chairman and we look forward, under his leadership, to further develop the role of IASIS in the agricultural industry.
IASIS provides accredited training for distributors in the plant protection, animal health and pest control sectors up to QQI Level 6.  IASIS is a QQI and Lantra registered service provider.
