Farm Family CPD Training

FRS Training, the HSA, FBD, IFA, Teagasc, FRS Network and number of Irish farm families have developed five innovative FREE online farm safety courses for Irish farm families. This initiative, called “Farm Family CPD”, provides a new cost effective and sustainable training-led approach to foster farm safety and wellbeing within each generation of the family.
The training aims to influence attitudes and behaviours to reduce the level of on-farm fatal and non-fatal incidents.
This Farm Family CPD training is a European Innovation Partnership (EIP) Initiative that is being funded by the Department of Agriculture.
There are 5 courses to choose from:
Running a Safer Farm for Farm Principals
– Keeping Yourself Safe 12-16 Year Olds
– Keeping Yourself Safe for Over 65s
– Keeping Yourself Safe for Employees and Non-Paid Farm Workers
– Managing Dangers – Livestock, Machinery, Buildings Essential Safety for Everyone Living and Working on the Farm
Access to this programme is free, but is only open for a short period of time and will be closing at the end of November 2023. You can register for access to the programme at www.farmfamilycpd.ie
